In June 2025 at the Toyota Arena in Ontario, California Dr. Mott delivered the commencement speech at American Career College.
Over 8,000 people – between students, their supportive families & friends, and faculty and staff from American Career College came together to celebrate the 2025 Commencement.
Dr. Jen Mott was invited to celebrate this occasion and share a word of hope and inspiration to these graduating students as they launched into their professional careers.

Her TEDxTalk for “The Creative Spark” themed event is “Juggling Career & Passion” – how we can incorporate important parts of ourselves to step into the fullness of who we are. This can be done by adding passions into our careers for levity and fun, while bringing in our careers to our passions for more depth and richness.

About Dr. Mott
Author, TEDx & Keynote speaker, educator, entertainer, Dr. Mott has been with Cincinnati Circus Company since 2006 as a juggler, stilt-walker, balloon artist, and fire performer. During that time, she graduated with her undergraduate degree in Secondary Education for Spanish and completed her Master’s program in Curriculum & Instruction from University of Cincinnati.
In 2020 Dr. Mott defended her dissertation on Teacher Perseverance in order to complete a Doctorate in Leadership Studies at Xavier University. She serves as an Instructor for the Educational Administration program there, as well.
She now merges the two experiences into creative speaking engagements for schools, corporations, businesses and organizations.

By day, Dr. Jen Mott is a school administrator at one of the largest middle schools in Ohio. Additionally – since 2006 in the evenings and on weekends, she has been a professional circus entertainer for Cincinnati Circus Company, the largest entertainment company in the Midwest.
As an author, TEDx and keynote speaker, educator and entertainer – Dr. Mott merges her passions of education and entertainment by performing for corporations & businesses, organizations, schools, and non-profit groups. She speaks messages of hope and inspiration with clear steps for how people can join her on the journey of saying YES to their passions, trying new things, thinking outside of the box and incorporating all they love into their lifestyle.
